The Telford Skills Show is returning to the Telford International Centre in Shropshire on 19 March 2026 to help residents find new jobs and training opportunities. This free event will run from 12 noon to 6pm and is open to people of all ages, including students and those looking for a career change.
Organised by the Telford & Wrekin Council, the show allows visitors to meet directly with over 70 employers from sectors like health, engineering, and hospitality. Attendees can explore various apprenticeships and vocational training options while receiving professional career advice and guidance.
The 2026 event is held in connection with National Careers Week, which takes place earlier in the month from 2 March to 7 March 2026 under the theme of owning your future. This year’s show is officially sponsored by The Careers & Enterprise Company, Telford College, and Harper Adams University.
Councillor Shirley Reynolds stated that the show is vital for residents at any stage of their career journey, including those facing career challenges or looking for a change of direction. Historically, the event attracts around 3,000 visitors who come to see the latest local employment and training opportunities in one central location.
