On 2 March 2026, Cambridgeshire Constabulary closed a flat in the Millfield area of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The police took this action to stop persistent drug dealing and anti-social behaviour that has been affecting the local community.

The three-month closure order for the property at 166 Gladstone Street was granted at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on 27 February 2026. This follows a police search on 23 January 2026, where officers found class A and class B drugs as well as cash inside the flat.

A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug supply and possession. He has since been released on bail and is expected to return to the police in April 2026.

Under the terms of the court order, nobody is allowed to enter the flat for the next three months except for emergency services and staff from the Cross Keys Homes. Local officers said the closure is designed to provide immediate relief to neighbours who have dealt with criminal activity at the address.
