The Bike Oxford cycling event will return to the city on Sunday, 21 June 2026, with riders starting and finishing their journeys at the Oxford University Rugby Club in Oxfordshire. This annual ride was first established in 2014 by Iconic Cycling Events to offer residents a way to explore the historic city and local countryside on two wheels.
Cyclists can sign up for one of three different routes covering distances of approximately 25, 45, or 75 miles. The 2026 edition is being held in partnership with Sobell House Hospice to help raise money for local end-of-life care services.
This year also features a “Cyclability” ride which provides a fleet of adapted bikes and inclusive facilities to ensure people of all physical abilities can take part. The event is powered by the law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper and aims to provide a locally hosted sport challenge for the whole community.
