Residents in Bloxwich, West Midlands, are being told to prepare for strong winds and rain this coming Thursday, 12 March 2026. The Met Office has updated its forecast to show that wind gusts could reach speeds of up to 42mph throughout the day.

Along with the high winds, the area is expected to see light rain. Forecasters say there is a 50% to 70% chance of rain during the unsettled weather.

These conditions could cause problems for people travelling in and around the town. The strong winds might also knock down tree branches or pose a danger to temporary structures.

People living in the area are advised to secure any garden furniture to stop it from blowing away. It is also a good idea to allow extra time for any journeys on Thursday in case of delays.

The national weather service updated this forecast on 8 March 2026. The temperature is expected to reach a high of 11°C despite the wet and windy conditions.
