A 38-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested and charged after a police raid on a property in the Old Town area of Swindon, Wiltshire, on 3 March 2026. The search was part of an ongoing effort to stop illegal drug activity in the local neighbourhood.

Officers from Wiltshire Police arrested Blair Egerton, of Dover Street, following the search. He has been charged with possessing criminal property and having Class A and Class B drugs with the intention of supplying them to others.

The arrest comes during a week of increased police activity across the town to tackle anti-social behaviour and drug supply. During this period, authorities have also been closing down other residential properties in Swindon that were found to be linked to similar criminal problems and community disruption.

Egerton has been kept in custody and is expected to appear at the Swindon Magistrates Court on 10 April 2026. Local officers are continuing to watch for suspicious activity and are asking residents to share any information that might help keep their streets safe.
