On Saturday 7 March 2026, a man and a woman were threatened with a knife during an attempted robbery on a canal path in Quedgeley, Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The incident happened at approximately 8:30 pm while the couple was walking between Wharfdale Way and The Causeway.

A group of four men riding BMX-style bikes approached the pair and demanded money while brandishing a Swiss Army knife. The suspects are described as being between 18 and 25 years old and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas to hide their faces.
