Thames Valley Police are investigating a disturbance involving a weapon that took place on Station Road in Langley, Berkshire, on the afternoon of 11 March 2026. Officers were called to the scene near Slough & Langley College at approximately 3:50 PM following reports of a fight, and a 17-year-old male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article.

While no one was hurt during the incident, there has been an increased police presence in the area to reassure the local community. Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries to understand exactly what happened in the street near the college grounds.

Police have issued a firm warning to the public to stop sharing videos of the incident on social media. Because the person arrested is a teenager and legal proceedings are now active, sharing images or footage that could identify those involved is a criminal offence.

Anyone who has information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police by calling 101. Callers should quote the case reference number 43260120616 when providing details to the authorities.
