Residents in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, can expect a burst of spring-like weather this week as temperatures are forecast to reach 18°C on Wednesday, 18 March 2026. This warm spell follows a much cooler and overcast start to the week.

According to the Met Office, the city saw grey skies and a maximum temperature of only 10°C on Monday, 16 March 2026. The weather is expected to improve quickly as the week progresses, leading to a bright and sunny day on Wednesday.

The national weather service predicts that the mid-week peak will offer a short break from the usual chilly March conditions. However, the warmer weather is not expected to stay through to the weekend.

As the week comes to an end, the forecast shows that the area will gradually become cloudier. Temperatures are also set to drop back down to cooler levels after the sunny spell passes.
