On 17 March 2026, Bolton Wanderers Football Club in Bolton, Greater Manchester, launched a new partnership to give its fans free access to mental health support. The club has teamed up with a digital platform called InsideOut to offer resources that help supporters manage stress and anxiety.

Supporters aged 18 and over can now use a 24-hour wellbeing coach named Remi. This service is an AI-powered tool that provides clinical programmes and tools for low mood and mental health struggles.

The platform provided by InsideOut is approved by the NHS. It follows national clinical standards and uses recognised methods like mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy to help users.

The service was introduced during a home game on 17 March 2026. Fans can find the service by scanning QR codes located throughout the stadium or by visiting the club’s website.

The football club is one of the first in the English Football League to provide this type of professional mental health support to its supporters. This move is part of an effort to reduce the stigma around mental health and support the local community.
