Hart Foodbank in Fleet, Hampshire, has updated its list of requested donations to ensure it can continue providing balanced emergency parcels to people in need. The charity released its latest shortages list on 17 March 2026 to help residents know exactly which items are currently in short supply.
Organisers are specifically asking for fruit squash, savoury biscuits, and long-life milk. Other high-priority items needed at the centre include sponge puddings, washing-up liquid, and men’s deodorants.
The foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust network and relies heavily on the local community to keep its shelves stocked. More than 90 per cent of all the food given out by the charity comes from direct donations from the public.
While the team welcomes most cupboard staples, there are some items they cannot take. Due to specific safety and health policies, the foodbank does not accept donations of baby milk or baby food.
By following the updated shortages list, donors can help the charity avoid having too much of one item while running out of others. This system ensures that every person referred to the service by local agencies receives a useful parcel of essential goods.
