Crawley’s Memorial Gardens in West Sussex will host the STEM in the Park event on Saturday, 16 May 2026. This free community festival runs from 11am to 4pm and invites local families to explore science, technology, engineering, and maths through various hands-on activities.

The annual celebration is supported by London Gatwick Airport, Crawley Borough Council, and the Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology. These local partners aim to inspire young people and help them learn more about technical career paths within the region.

Attendees can take part in several interactive exhibits throughout the gardens, including robot demonstrations and virtual reality experiences. These displays are designed to be approachable for visitors of all ages and provide a practical look at modern technology.

The event also features activities at Crawley College, which is located directly opposite the gardens. The college will open its doors to show off immersive learning environments where families can try out games and see high-tech equipment in person.
