Residents from Blackpool, Lancashire, are being encouraged to attend the county’s largest crime prevention event this Thursday 26 March 2026. The free expo will take place at Blackburn Rovers Football Club from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The event is hosted by Lancashire Constabulary in partnership with the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime. Also involved is Clive Grunshaw, who serves as the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire.
There will be more than 50 exhibitors offering practical tips on how to protect homes, vehicles, and families from crime. Special sessions are also planned during the day, including a talk on knife crime awareness at 11:00 AM and a presentation on Ketamine education at 1:00 PM.
Blackpool residents can reach the venue at Ewood Park in about 40 minutes by car or direct train. According to the Stay In The Know service, the day offers a rare chance for people to speak face-to-face with their local neighbourhood officers about community concerns.
The event comes as the town sees a 16 per cent drop in anti-social behaviour, even though local crime rates remain a challenge. Local police teams are currently focusing their efforts on tackling drug dealing and road safety issues, such as nuisance motorbikes.
