Gloucester City Council is asking residents to nominate local charities to feature on the upcoming Gloucester Monopoly board by the end of today, 25 March 2026. This project in Gloucestershire will see three selected organisations take pride of place on the game’s Community Chest squares when it is released later this year.

According to Gloucester City Council, the deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM tonight. Residents can nominate a local cause or charities can nominate themselves by sending an email to [email protected].

The new board game is being created in partnership with Visit Gloucester and game makers Winning Moves UK. Gloucester was awarded its own edition of the famous game after winning a competition against 10 other UK cities based on its beauty, civic pride, and family values.

The final board will feature more than 30 local landmarks, including the Docks and Gloucester Cathedral, and is expected to be on sale by Christmas 2026. Several groups have already been put forward by the community for the charity spots, including New Start Cat Rescue and Sunflowers Suicide Support.
