Northamptonshire Police launched a new county-wide crackdown in March 2026 to find and arrest the most dangerous offenders in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Significant money has also been spent to make local streets safer, including more than £431,000 for the Queensway estate. Another £369,000 was used to help residents in Hemmingwell improve their home security through targeted safety improvements.
Officers are now focusing on a wide range of issues that affect the community, from anti-social behaviour to protecting vulnerable children. The force handles around 880 calls for help every day to keep residents safe across the region.
