The Hearing Services has opened a new specialist clinic in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, to provide residents with easier access to ear care and hearing assessments. The facility is based at Unit 42 in The Heart Shopping Centre on New Zealand Avenue.

The clinic officially launched on 13 September 2025 with a ceremony attended by the Deputy Mayor of Elmbridge. It is run by clinical audiologist Farah Kiani, who leads the family business and has worked in the field since graduating from university in 2010.

Residents can visit the clinic for services such as hearing aid fittings, tinnitus counselling, and ear wax removal using gentle suction or water-based cleaning. The staff also offers home visits for people who are unable to leave their houses to attend an appointment.

About one in five people in the UK experience hearing loss, and the new clinic focuses on meeting the needs of the local population. Kiani was inspired to start her career after watching the help her younger brother received for his hearing problems when they were children.
