Lancaster City Football Club finished with a 1-1 draw against Bamber Bridge during their match on Monday, 6 April 2026. The result leaves the team, which plays its home games at Giant Axe, in 7th position in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The Dolly Blues took an early lead when Nic Evangelinos scored just five minutes into the match. However, Bamber Bridge equalised in the 38th minute through Nathaniel Knight-Percival. With this result, the club remains five points outside of the play-off places with five fixtures left in the 2025-26 season.

Manager Jimmy Marshall expressed frustration following the game, noting that defensive lapses led to the opposition goal. He stated, “We haven’t defended our box and it’s a free header (for the equaliser). We haven’t done our jobs.”

Despite the result, the club continues to benefit from the contributions of 18-year-old centre-back Ed Nolan. The Preston North End loanee has impressed during his time with the squad, earning multiple Player of the Match awards. His loan spell at the club has been extended until the end of the current season.
