Detectives investigating the death of 41-year-old James Blanch in Bournemouth have made further arrests following a reported assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road. Mr Blanch, a father of two from Christchurch, was pronounced dead at the scene during the early hours of Monday 6 April 2026.
Following an investigation led by the Dorset Police Major Crime Investigation Team, 35-year-old Rico Wilson of Bournemouth was charged with murder. He appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on 8 April 2026.

Three men, aged 37 and 46 from Bournemouth and a 34-year-old from Poole, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have since been released under investigation.
