Residents in Cheshunt can expect a mild but unsettled week ahead, with temperatures gradually climbing toward 18°C by next Thursday, according to the latest forecast from the Met Office.

The weekend will bring the most disruptive conditions for the town, which is home to approximately 43,680 people. Forecasters are predicting a 40% chance of rain at 10am on Saturday, accompanied by wind gusts reaching up to 33mph. Similar conditions are expected on Sunday, with a 40% chance of precipitation at 1pm and winds peaking at 28mph.

Following the wet weekend, the weather is expected to become more settled as the week progresses. Temperatures will start at 14°C on Friday and Saturday, rising to 15°C on Sunday and 16°C on Tuesday, before reaching 18°C by next Thursday.

Those who suffer from hay fever should take note, as pollen levels are expected to remain high throughout the week. This is largely due to the ongoing birch and ash pollen season. Additionally, the Met Office reports that UV levels will stay at a moderate level, and residents are advised to use sunscreen during the middle of the day.
