Residents in Cheshunt can look forward to a mild and settled week ahead, as temperatures are set to climb steadily from Monday through to Friday. According to the Met Office, daytime temperatures will rise from 13°C at the start of the week to a peak of 19°C by Friday, 17 April 2026.

While the week is expected to be largely pleasant, Monday will bring a mixture of sunny intervals and showers. The highest chance of rain is expected on Monday afternoon, with a 60 to 80 per cent probability of light showers between 3pm and 5pm. There is also a risk of hail and thunder in the region during the afternoon.

Following Monday, the weather is forecast to remain dry and settled. Wind speeds will generally be light, although gusts of up to 26mph are expected on Wednesday. There are currently no weather warnings in force for the local area.

Those who suffer from allergies should take note that pollen levels are forecast to be high throughout the week. The high levels are driven primarily by birch pollen, with moderate levels of ash pollen also reported.

As the weather improves, all services provided by Hertfordshire County Council, including social care, education, and highways maintenance, continue to operate as normal.
