Residents in Banbury can expect a mix of mild temperatures and frequent rain throughout the week of 14 April 2026, according to the Met Office.

While daytime temperatures are set to stay mild, ranging between 14°C and 17°C, wet weather is forecast for most days. Wednesday 15 April will be particularly wet, with heavy rain expected in the afternoon. Those travelling early on Wednesday should be aware that visibility could drop to as low as 200 metres, and wind gusts may reach speeds of 32mph.

The Met Office also warns that pollen levels will be high in the area on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The overlap of birch, ash, and oak pollen seasons means hay fever sufferers may find conditions difficult as these levels remain moderate to high for the remainder of the week.

There is some relief on the horizon for those hoping to spend time outdoors, as the coming weekend offers the best chance for dry weather. Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April are expected to bring sunny intervals, with the likelihood of rain falling significantly compared to the earlier part of the week.
