University Centre Peterborough is set to host a two-day Creative Showcase starting on 21 April 2026, featuring a range of work from students across its creative subjects.

The event kicks off at 6:00 PM on 21 April with a Digital Arts Exhibition Launch. This opening display is free to attend, and no tickets are required for members of the public who wish to view the creative projects produced by students throughout the year. The showcase is open to local art enthusiasts, prospective students, and industry professionals interested in identifying new creative talent.

On 22 April, the event continues at 6:00 PM with the Peterborough Student Film Festival. This screening is held in partnership with the Gateway Film Festival, marking the second consecutive year the two organisations have collaborated to highlight emerging student filmmakers.

Inspire Education Group, the parent organisation of the university centre, notes that the institution serves over 700 students across more than 50 courses. In 2023, the centre was recognised with Silver status by the Teaching Excellence Framework for the quality of its teaching and the student experience. Academic performance remains a focus for the institution, with 80 percent of students achieving a 2:1 degree classification or higher in 2023.

The university centre offers various creative programmes, including courses in creative digital design, designed to prepare students for careers in the digital and creative sectors.
