Residents in Hinckley can look forward to a mild week ahead with sunny spells, although some rain and cooler temperatures are expected as the weekend approaches. According to the Met Office, daytime temperatures for the period between 16 April and 22 April 2026 will range from 13°C to 16°C.

Thursday and Friday are set to be the warmest days of the week, reaching highs of 16°C. However, those planning outdoor activities should be aware that Friday will be the windiest day, with gusts reaching up to 28mph. There is also a 70% chance of rain between 4pm and 5pm on Friday, with lighter rain likely throughout the afternoon.

The weather will become drier over the weekend. While Saturday will see clearer conditions, Sunday morning will be the coldest part of the week, with temperatures dropping to around 3°C. Due to wind chill, it may feel as cold as 1°C in the early hours.

For those sensitive to allergies, please note that pollen levels for birch are high on Thursday and Friday, though they will drop to moderate levels from Saturday through Monday. Additionally, as UV levels will remain moderate throughout the week, the public is advised to wear sunscreen if spending time outdoors during the middle of the day.
