Residents in Wellingborough are invited to share their ideas for the future of local arts and culture at a series of upcoming community sessions. Made With Many, an organisation dedicated to community-led creative projects, is hosting the first event on 18 April 2026 to plan activities for the next three years.
The first drop-in session will take place from 1pm to 3pm at the Wellingborough African Caribbean Association, located at the Rock Street Community Complex. The venue offers step-free access for all attendees. A second session is planned for 14 May 2026 at Wellingborough Museum.
These gatherings follow a £1 million funding award from Arts Council England announced in October 2025. The funding is part of a national programme designed to support arts and culture in areas where participation has historically been lower than the national average.
Made With Many encourages community members, local artists, and partners to attend the sessions to help shape the direction of future projects. The organisation, which is led by a consortium that includes Groundwork Northamptonshire and WACA, has been running community-led creative activities in the region since 2014.
