Residents in Telford can look forward to a week of increasingly warm and settled weather as temperatures climb to 18°C by Thursday, 23 April 2026. According to the Met Office, the region will see a clear warming trend as high pressure brings dry conditions to the area.

The week begins with cooler weather on Monday, 20 April, with a maximum temperature of 13°C and sunny intervals. Temperatures will then rise steadily through the week, reaching 14°C on Tuesday and 17°C on Wednesday, before peaking at 18°C on Thursday. The warm spell is expected to continue with temperatures of 17°C on Friday, 16°C on Saturday, and 17°C on Sunday.

While Monday brings high pollen levels due to birch and oak trees, the Met Office expects these to ease to moderate levels for the rest of the week. With moderate UV levels throughout, residents are advised to take care during midday hours and use sunscreen if spending time outdoors. Air quality is expected to remain low to moderate, which is suitable for normal outdoor activities.

These conditions provide an ideal opportunity to visit Telford Town Park, which is managed by Telford & Wrekin Council. The 450-acre space, which was voted the UK’s Best Park in 2015 and holds Green Flag status, offers various activities including walking trails, adventure golf, disc golf, fishing, and family play areas.
