Residents in Poole can expect a warm and dry week ahead as temperatures are set to climb to 19°C by Thursday, according to the Met Office. The town is entering a settled weather pattern that will see daytime highs reach 6°C above the seasonal April average of 13°C.

While sunny skies are expected to dominate the forecast through 26 April 2026, those spending time outdoors should be aware of moderate UV levels. The Met Office advises residents to take care during midday hours and to use sunscreen to stay protected.

The week will remain mostly dry, though conditions are expected to become windy on Wednesday with gusts reaching up to 38mph. The chance of rainfall remains very low, staying below 5% for most of the week.

Hay fever sufferers should take note that pollen levels are forecast to be high throughout the week. Met Office Senior Scientist Lucy Neal explained that the current sunny, warm and dry conditions are ideal for the release and dispersal of birch pollen, which is known to affect a large proportion of allergy sufferers. The oak pollen season is also beginning across the region.
