A new food festival is coming to Norwich this weekend, bringing together more than 45 local producers and small businesses to showcase the best of East Anglian food and drink. The inaugural Norwich Food Festival will take place on Sunday 26 April 2026, at The Forum in the city centre, with doors open from 10am to 4pm.

Organised by Tom Hassey, the founder of Apollo Events and co-owner of Daily Grind Coffee, the event is being run by a family team including his sister, Megan. The festival is free for the public to attend and features a variety of street food, farm-to-fork produce, and interactive tasting sessions.

Visitors can take part in wine tasting sessions hosted by Flint Vineyard, a Norfolk-based producer established in 2016, or join a cheese tasting presented by Cheese & Bees. The event will also feature live BBQ demonstrations from social media personality JacksMeatShack. Other vendors participating in the festival include Swirl Norwich, Kaylee Kitchen Bakes, The Tealady, Slims BBQ, The Bucket List, and Pasta Fresca.

Mr Hassey, who launched his coffee business in the spring of 2024, started the festival to highlight the diverse food and drink scene across the region. Organisers hope the debut event will successfully showcase local businesses and become a permanent fixture in the Norwich calendar.
