Residents of Royal Tunbridge Wells can look forward to the warmest weather of the year so far this weekend, as the Met Office forecasts sunny, dry conditions across the area.

Saturday 25 April 2026 is expected to reach 19°C, making it a very warm day, though not necessarily the warmest recorded in the town this year. The dry spell is set to continue through Wednesday 29 April, with almost no rain expected throughout the period.

This stretch of mild weather is caused by a high-pressure system dominating the United Kingdom, bringing strong late-April sunshine and warm, sinking air. While the daytime will be pleasant, the Met Office has advised that UV levels will be moderate, and residents spending time outdoors during midday hours should consider wearing sunscreen.

Those planning outdoor activities should be aware of high pollen levels, particularly oak pollen, which will persist across the region until Tuesday 28 April. Levels are expected to drop to moderate starting on Wednesday 29 April.
