Residents in Cheltenham can look forward to a week of dry, sunny weather as high pressure remains across the UK from Friday 24 April through Thursday 30 April 2026. According to the Met Office, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 20°C through Monday, with little to no chance of rain throughout the period.

While the weather will be ideal for outdoor activities, the Met Office has warned that pollen levels will remain high through Monday. Hay fever sufferers should prepare for the effects of birch and oak pollen, which are expected to be particularly active during this dry spell.

The Met Office also advises that UV levels will be moderate throughout the week. Residents are encouraged to use sunscreen when outside during the middle of the day to stay protected.

The settled, calm conditions will shift slightly starting Tuesday, as wind speeds increase. Residents can expect gusty conditions by the middle of the week, with wind speeds reaching up to 30mph on Wednesday and 29mph on Thursday.
