AFC Telford United has marked three consecutive seasons of improvement as the club looks back on its 2025/26 campaign at the SEAH Stadium.

Following a final match against Southport on 25 April 2026, the club has confirmed it will finish the season in 10th or 11th place in the National League North. The board stated that this performance exceeded many expectations held before the season began.

The club has highlighted a period of steady progress since joining the Southern League. This trajectory included reaching a play-off final in the 2022/23 season, winning promotion in the 2024/25 season, and successfully holding their own back in the sixth tier of English football during the most recent campaign. First team manager Kevin Wilkin has been credited with providing the stability and continuity necessary to support this growth.

While the team spent much of the 2025/26 season in 7th or 8th position, a dip in consistency during March and April meant the side ultimately missed out on a play-off spot. Despite this, the club celebrated scoring 107 goals across all competitions and noted that the side enjoyed its best runs in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy for several years.

Beyond the men’s first team, the club reported continued growth across its women’s, boys’ and girls’ teams, as well as its Foundation. As the club moves toward the next campaign, officials have announced that season tickets for 2026/27 will be available for purchase in early May.
