Basingstoke Town FC is inviting the community to take part in an official world record attempt for the most people simultaneously juggling a football. The event will be held at the Winklebury Football Complex in Basingstoke on Saturday 6 June 2026.

The gathering is part of the global Where Football Lives campaign, which connects cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Vancouver through community football and climate awareness initiatives. Organisers are aiming to surpass the current record of 1,444 people, which was set in Poland in 2018.

The event will run from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with the official 10-second record attempt taking place at 5:30pm. The Hampshire FA is supporting the day, which is being coordinated by the club’s Sustainability and Community Director, Thom Rawson.

Anyone wishing to participate must pay a fee and bring their own size 5 football. Those interested in volunteering, vending, or charity involvement are encouraged to contact the club directly for further information.
