Residents in Stockport can look forward to a largely dry and settled week, with the Met Office predicting temperatures between 13°C and 17°C from 4 May to 10 May 2026.

While the week is expected to be mostly dry, Tuesday will be the exception. There is a 70% chance of rain at 6pm, which will be followed by light showers. Outside of this, conditions will remain quiet, with sunny intervals expected on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Those planning outdoor activities will benefit from low pollen levels throughout the week. However, UV levels are rated as moderate, and sunscreen is advised for anyone heading out during the middle of the day.

Wind speeds will pick up as the week progresses, starting at 11mph on Monday and reaching gusts of up to 27mph by Sunday. The wind will shift from a northeasterly direction toward the east-northeast as the week continues.

Looking further ahead, the outlook from 8 May to 17 May remains uncertain, with forecasters suggesting that a more unsettled weather pattern may move into the region, though some dry spells are still expected.
