Tenants of Hightown Housing Association in Welwyn and Hatfield must prepare to switch their rent payment methods, as current digital services are set to close on 11 May 2026. The change affects residents who currently use the existing allpay app and internet payments portal to manage their accounts.

The housing association announced on 29 April 2026 that these services will no longer be available after 11 May. Residents who rely on the mobile app will need to download the new allpayments app separately, as the old version will not automatically update. The new platform includes additional features such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and biometric authentication.

For those who prefer not to use the new app, Hightown Housing Association continues to offer several other ways to pay rent. These include setting up a direct debit, making payments over the telephone, using text payments, or paying in-person at shops that display Post Office, epay, or payzone signs.

Residents who require assistance with the transition or have concerns regarding their payments are encouraged to contact the association’s Income Recovery team. Support is available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01442 292280. Further details on alternative payment options can be found on the Hightown Housing Association website.

As a charitable organisation, Hightown Housing Association provides housing and support services across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire, including homes for residents with specific care and support needs.
