Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in central Middlesbrough on the evening of Friday 1 May 2026.
The collision, which involved a Range Rover, took place at the junction of Borough Road and Abingdon Road shortly after 10.50pm. The pedestrian sustained a fractured left ankle and was taken by ambulance to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
