Norwich Theatre is looking for children to take part in free workshops this summer as it begins the search for its junior cast for this year’s Christmas pantomime. The upcoming production, The All New Adventures of Peter Pan, will feature young performers in the roles of The Lost Children when it runs from 5 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 at the Norwich Theatre Royal.

The Journey to Neverland: Junior Cast Workshops will begin on 26 May 2026 and run until 24 July. These sessions are open to children aged 9 to 12 who live within 30 minutes of the theatre. Led by industry professionals, the workshops are designed to be inclusive and open to all, regardless of previous stage experience. Each session will explore movement, choreography, and scenes in an encouraging environment.

Following the initial workshops, participants will be invited back for follow-up sessions in August, with final auditions taking place in September. Selected performers will need to be available for a significant commitment, which includes time during the school day, as well as evenings and weekends throughout the rehearsal and performance period.

This year’s production will see the return of Joe Tracini, who is writing the script and starring in the show. The theatre, a registered charity that relies on ticket sales and donations to run its community programmes, is expanding its junior cast for this upcoming production.
