Dorset Police have made further arrests as investigations continue into two serious assaults that occurred in Bournemouth during late April 2026.
The first investigation concerns an assault on 26 April 2026 in the area of Maclean Road. Police were called at 7.18pm after a 16-year-old boy sustained suspected stab wounds, resulting in serious injuries that required hospital treatment. Following enquiries by BCP CID, three people have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent: a 17-year-old boy from Poole, a 17-year-old boy from Bournemouth, and a 20-year-old man from Bournemouth. All three have since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
A second, separate investigation is underway following an assault in the early hours of 28 April 2026 outside Barbara’s Bier Haus on Old Christchurch Road. Police arrived at 12.30am to find a 19-year-old man who had been assaulted. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

A second arrest has since been made, with a 22-year-old man from Bournemouth taken into custody on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
