Families in Warrington have the opportunity to enjoy a discounted day out at Gulliver’s World while supporting those in need during the park’s upcoming Food Bank Weekend. On 16 May and 17 May 2026, visitors can gain entry to the theme park for £14 per person, provided they bring a donation of non-perishable food items.

This discounted ticket offer is a significant reduction from the standard online advance booking price of £27. To qualify, each person in a group must provide at least one food donation, with children under 90cm in height receiving free entry to the park. The Gulliver’s World resort, located at Shackleton Close in Old Hall, is encouraging visitors to bring items such as tinned fruit, long-life milk, tinned meat, spaghetti, ravioli, or jars of coffee to help support local efforts.

The initiative is organised in partnership with Warrington Food Bank and the Trussell charity. Throughout 2025, Warrington Food Bank distributed 7,027 food parcels to 2,718 local households, with children under the age of 17 accounting for 35 percent of those supported. On a national level, the Trussell network provided over 2.6 million emergency food parcels across the UK during the same period.

Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, noted the importance of the partnership, stating that the local food bank performs vital work for those in society facing difficult times. The park, which has been designed for children aged 2-13, hopes the Food Bank Weekend will make a tangible difference in the community while providing a family-friendly experience.
