Among those participating are members of The Parks Trust, which relies on a network of around 240 volunteers to help manage thousands of acres of green space. The event venue itself, the MK Rose, was created by artist Gordon Young in 2014. It consists of 106 granite pillars arranged in a circle based on the design of a flower, providing a dedicated public space for civic gatherings.
