A total of 84 new private rent apartments at Denmark House in Telford Town Centre have been officially handed over to Nuplace, the housing company owned by Telford & Wrekin Council. The handover, announced on 22 May 2026, marks the completion of the first residential building within the Station Quarter regeneration project.

The six-storey development, constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland with a contract value of £18.5m, features fully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments. Rents for the units start from £850 per calendar month for one-bedroom apartments and £1,000 per calendar month for two-bedroom apartments. The building also includes adapted properties designed to meet specific accessibility needs.

Residents at Denmark House will have access to a concierge service, 24/7 parcel locker service, and superfast broadband. The construction of the building was supported by £4.725 million in grant funding provided by the West Midlands Combined Authority.

During the build, Bowmer + Kirkland generated £2.6 million in social value, which included the engagement of 23 apprentices and three T Level students. The contractor also noted that 48% of the workforce involved in the project lived within a 20-mile radius of the site.

Further residential development is currently underway at the Station Quarter. A total of 105 additional homes, consisting of 33 Nuplace properties and 72 homes delivered by Legal & General Affordable Homes, are nearing completion. These properties include a mix of town houses, low-rise apartments, and maisonettes, contributing to the wider phase one development of 189 residential units.
