The 1st XI led the way on Saturday, chasing down 106 to beat Hemel Hempstead Town CC 2nd XI by seven wickets, while the Sunday 1st XI also picked up a four-wicket win over Old Albanian.
Har Singh top scored with 41 in the 1st XI’s win, and Aman Dhaliwal took 4 for 9 in five overs. The result left the side on a positive run at the start of the season, with Harvey Blackwell continuing as captain after finishing 2025 as the club’s top run scorer with 515 runs.
The 3rd XI stayed unbeaten with a 26-run victory over Northwood CC 3rd XI, finishing on 131 for 9 before bowling their visitors out for 105. Gaurav Manocha captained that side and took three wickets, while the club says he needs 10 more wickets to reach 100 for Rickmansworth.
The 5th XI also won, posting 241 all out to beat Langleybury CC 4th XI by 40 runs. Billy May remains one of the club’s leading players after taking 30 wickets in 2025 with best figures of 5 for 13, and the club is due to host St Albans CC 2nd XI at Park Road Oval on Saturday 30 May, with the 3rd XI away to Boxmoor CC 2nd XI.
