Dorset Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to help establish exactly what happened. Police Constable Tracey Street, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police to please come forward. I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the collision, or moments leading up to it, on dashcam footage.”
