Warrington Town have made midfielder Bobby Bjork their fourth summer signing, bringing the 21-year-old to Cantilever Park from Lancaster City. Bjork, a former Blackpool academy player, made 35 Northern Premier League appearances last season and joins as manager Paul Carden continues reshaping the squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Carden sees Bjork as a player with “strength and energy in abundance,” able to cover ground box to box. “He’s an infectious character, he’s a bright lad,” Carden told the club’s website. Bjork described leaving Lancaster as a tough decision but was swayed by talks with Carden. “I like to get up and down the pitch, I’ve got a good engine,” he said, acknowledging his goal return has been lower than he’d like and aiming to improve it.

Bjork joins winger Jack Goodwin, midfielder Lewis Earl, and defender Alex McNally as the Yellows’ new arrivals. Earl, 23, was ever-present for Bootle last season and previously came through Preston North End’s scholarship system. McNally, 22, returns for a second spell after gaining experience with Prescot Cables, where he helped win promotion in 2024.

The new season starts on 8 August, with pre-season friendlies including a trip to Widnes Town on 11 July and Chester visiting on 18 July. Bjork has already played at Cantilever Park—he featured there for Lancaster when Warrington beat the league leaders 3-2.
