Bus Route 7C Rerouted as Sinkhole Shuts Cranbrook Road Until June 12

Passengers on Poole’s bus route 7C face an 11‑day diversion after a sewer collapsed and opened a sinkhole on Cranbrook Road. Morebus has confirmed that the temporary routing started on 1 June and is set to remain in place until 12 June, with repairs to the underground pipe and road surface still under way.

While the road is closed, 7C buses are running along Seaview Road, Ringwood Road and Cynthia Road in both directions. The operator’s service update makes clear that stops at Faith Gardens and Livingstone Road—both north‑ and south‑bound—are not being served for the duration of the works, and no other routes are affected by the diversion.

Passengers who normally board at either of the suspended stops are being asked to make alternative travel plans. The detour via Ringwood Road and Cynthia Road takes the 7C well away from its usual Oakdale alignment, so anyone using Faith Gardens or Livingstone Road should allow extra time or use a different stop while emergency repairs continue.
