Firefighters from four stations were called to a fire at Kazza’s Bar on Orwell Road late on Monday evening. The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service received the first reports at 11.53pm on 15 June and sent crews from Clacton, Colchester, Frinton and Weeley to the scene.
When the first appliances arrived, they found not only the bar alight but also a van parked nearby well involved in fire. Firefighters worked swiftly to bring both fires under control and made the area safe. No one was injured during the incident, the service has confirmed.
