Police have charged a 20-year-old man after a collision in Fircroft Road, Ipswich, left another man with what officers describe as life-changing injuries. Detectives believe the collision followed an earlier altercation between the victim and the car’s occupants, who fled on foot before being arrested nearby.
Officers are asking anyone with CCTV, doorbell video, or dashcam footage to come forward, quoting reference 37/35271/26. Three other men, all aged 20, were also arrested: one on suspicion of attempted murder, and two on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs — one of whom was additionally held on suspicion of possessing a knife. They have been bailed to return in August while investigations continue.
