Haverhill Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was grabbed and threatened at a basketball court on Withersfield Road. Two men approached the boy at about 6:30pm on Sunday 14 June, and one of them grabbed him.
No arrests have been reported, and the appeal, issued on 30 June, comes 16 days after the incident. Anyone who was in the area at the time or has information can contact Suffolk Police online or call 101, quoting crime reference 37/34476/26.
The basketball court is a public recreational space regularly used by young people in the town. West Suffolk CID is handling the investigation, and the neighbourhood policing team is asking anyone with information to come forward.
