The Sefton, Knowsley and St Helens Coroner’s Office is appealing for the public’s help to trace the next-of-kin of Daniel Doyle, who died in Bootle. Merseyside Police are assisting with the request, asking anyone with information about Mr Doyle’s relatives to come forward.

Coroner’s officers need to establish contact with his family to complete official processes following his death. The appeal, published in June 2026, follows standard procedures when next-of-kin cannot be located.

The coroner’s office handles such referrals as part of its legal duty to investigate deaths where the cause is unknown or circumstances require formal inquiry. HM Senior Coroner Anita Bhardwaj leads the district from Bootle Town Hall on Oriel Road.

Anyone who can help is urged to contact Coroner’s Officer Laura Daniels directly by calling 0151 934 3081 or emailing [email protected].
