Young adults aged 18 to 24 can get free career guidance at a drop-in event at The Angel Centre in Tonbridge on Wednesday 15 July. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is promoting the session, which runs from 10am to 2pm and covers careers, skills, work experience, and local support services.

A dedicated Quiet Hour will operate from 1pm to 2pm, offering a lower-stimulation environment for attendees who may benefit from reduced sensory input. The Angel Centre, managed by the not-for-profit leisure trust tmactive on Angel Lane, serves as the venue.

Similar employment support is available across West Kent via weekly job hubs in Sevenoaks, Swanley, and Edenbridge, which offer help with CVs, interview skills, and finding work placements and apprenticeships. The Tunbridge Wells Youth Hub, launched in 2016 as part of a county-wide initiative, also provides education and employment advice for young people.

The event is drop-in.
