Banbury Rugby Club returns with free weekly summer sessions at The Hill Community Centre, OX16 0JJ, every Thursday from 23 July to 27 August. Each mixed camp runs from 11:30am to 12:30pm, with free entry and free meals for everyone who attends.

The programme runs in partnership with Thomas Franks, a family-owned catering company from Hook Norton, and receives backing from the club’s community sponsors. The confirmed dates stretch across six Thursdays: 23 July, 30 July, 6 August, 13 August, 20 August, and 27 August.

Thomas Franks launched its charitable foundation in 2019 to tackle food poverty, and during the pandemic delivered more than 300,000 meals to key workers and vulnerable people nationwide, including regular drops in Banbury and Bicester. The club itself, founded in 1925 and based at Bodicote Park on Oxford Road, fields over 100 active senior players and more than 450 boys and girls aged 5 to 18.

The sessions offer a structured, active morning for young people and families during the school break. All ages are welcome to the mixed camp at the Hill centre, offering a cost-free activity during the school break.
