Six new vendors are joining the Haverhill Farmers Market this season, bringing gourmet chutneys, Brazilian cheese bread and spices from around the world to Bradford Common. Team Haverhill, the volunteer group behind the market, are running it every Saturday from 9am to 1pm through 31 October.

The newcomers include The Chutney Couple with handmade farm-fresh chutneys, Galley Provisions selling Brazilian cheese bread, Really Real Co. offering healthy protein bars, Curio Spice Company providing spices from around the world, The Provocative Pickle Co. with gourmet pickles, and Toula’s Famous House Dressing. Returning favourites will trade alongside them, while a food assistance programme means SNAP, EBT, WIC and HIP benefits are accepted at participating farms so more residents can buy fresh produce.

The market has served Haverhill since 1978 and now operates in partnership with Creative Haverhill, which brings arts and cultural programming to the event. Jeff Grassie, the market organiser, can be contacted at [email protected] or on 978-872-7535. Live music and children’s activities run every week, keeping the morning market a family-friendly fixture at 10 Church Street.
