Book lovers in Bloxwich have a chance to share their latest reads this month as the Bloxwich Library Reading Group meets again on Thursday, 16 July. The monthly club, run by Walsall Council, gathers on the third Thursday of each month at Bloxwich Community Library on High Street.

The hour-long session runs from 11am to 12pm and welcomes anyone wanting to discuss a new book over a cup of tea. A £1 admission charge covers refreshments. The group describes each meet-up as a lively chance to share thoughts and insights with fellow readers.

The library itself, at WS3 2DA, opens Tuesday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5pm. It stays closed on Mondays. Beyond the reading group, the building offers dementia‑friendly services, children’s activities, free WiFi, computer access, and printing facilities.

The next two reading group sessions fall on 20 August and beyond, keeping the third‑Thursday pattern. Anyone wanting more detail can contact the library on 01922 655900 or at [email protected].
